ka-LO-sure

So, shE calls me on my Vonage. There's some empty smalltalk to begin with, kind of strained conversation. It's 6am, heR time, and shE can't sleep. Then it comes out, why shE called: shE wants to make sure that we're both moving on.

And shE said shE's getting close to one of heR friends who has liked heR for a long time (even before I got together with heR). I know him. He's a nice guy, and it seems he's genuine. So I'm happy for heR, and we wish each other a good life.

Heck, no, not Mississauga. Not even Vancouver. I don't do long distance relationships (anymore).

Ben, I would reconsider that! Female FFs are strong like oxes, having one of them is like having a free Molly Maid at home!? FREE!

Then I would fear for domestic violence instead. I don't need someone with the strength of an ox; there would be too much livestock in my place, if you add in my stubborn-as-a-mule and my stupid-jackass tendencies.

Anyhow, closure is a good thing for both sides. It means I can move ahead in my life, keep on looking forward, carrying with me what I learned in the past. (This is different from having baggage.)

closure is good. If the guy is who I think it is then I know him too. And he's a good guy, though I heard he was moving to vegas for work.

I am in the processing of moving back to Toronto....so momcy, about those female firefighters....
