With extra cycles, this is what my brain conjures up.
Mostly, it wonders about things that people take for granted.
Or that they don't care about wasting time with.
So last night, when I got home, I turned on my Mac and found that i miraculously booted up again (AND got through the login screen). Took forever, though, and the harddrive sounded like it was getting "stuck" somewhere.
Turns out, it's not a Mac-specific issue: it's just that my harddrive is failing on me. Stupid harddrive, the S.M.A.R.T. status tells me that it has reported some kind of fatal error before, and that I better back up whatever I can and then buy a new one.
At least it's not the rest of the Mac. But dammit, still sucks.

My laptop PC has never failed me. I use it everyday for work, school, and for personal stuff.
Time to go back to the dark side.
I heart Toshy.
