I use it everyday for work, school, and for personal stuff.

Time to go back to the dark side.Cehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17166539811329514415noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3353795.post-1126170945089967022005-09-08T17:15:00.000+08:002005-09-08T17:15:00.000+08:00So last night, when I got home, I turned on my Mac...So last night, when I got home, I turned on my Mac and found that i miraculously booted up again (AND got through the login screen). Took forever, though, and the harddrive sounded like it was getting "stuck" somewhere.

Turns out, it's not a Mac-specific issue: it's just that my harddrive is failing on me. Stupid harddrive, the S.M.A.R.T. status tells me that it has reported some kind of fatal error before, and that I better back up whatever I can and then buy a new one.

At least it's not the rest of the Mac. But dammit, still sucks.Benhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04355625857988137238noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3353795.post-1126165098325078122005-09-08T15:38:00.000+08:002005-09-08T15:38:00.000+08:00that sucks. i thought macs were the be all and end...that sucks. i thought macs were the be all and end all to all things technical and great. so they're not perfect eh? btw, we miss you out here too.Fumblinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00372792263766519648noreply@blogger.com
