A Touch of Classical
When do you listen to classical music? I don't mind it, but I don't seem to ever find myself in the mood where I want to have it playing in the background or whatever. Maybe I'm missing a good opportunity to be playing symphonies or some orchestral piece??

Classical music is fairly broad. Have you heard a large enough variety to determine that you don't like any of it?
I play it at night when I want to wind down and read a book. It helps to put me to sleep.
Never said I didn't like any of it. In fact, that's the point of my point: that I don't mind it, even like it, but never really feel "in the mood for classical" when I put music on. So the question of the entry is, when do you put classical music on, and what kind of mood are you in when you do?
As for sleepy-time music/sound, I have accustomed myself to past episodes of sitcoms. Even just the sound of old jokes and episodes is enough -- I don't have to be watching the screen (and nowadays never am, because the TV is downstairs and set to sleep in 30 minutes). It has to be old episodes I've seen before, because otherwise I tend to pay attention and that defeats the purpose.
hmm.. when it's a rainy rainy day and it's a long long drive. sometimes i put classical music on. sometimes when my mind's been in overdrive for too long, i put classical on to force my mind to .. slow down? not very often though.
Vanessa Mae and Bond do a lot of this "Techno" Classical stuff. A lot of traditionalists hate it. But I like it.
