Oops

Missed my flight. Only one more today back to Taipei, and there were already 8 other morons who probably also missed their flight, so I would have been #9 on the waiting list.

Guess I'm going to make a quick little Seoul holiday of it; I just called in, changed my flight to Saturday night. I'm working from the local office today, will take tomorrow off for vacation, and tour Seoul. Plans are to buy a suit, a fake LV wallet (that fits the larger TWD and EURO and my Taiwanese IDs), and I dunno what else. Suggestions?

Kind of serendipitous, really. So far, I love Seoul and I'm glad to have the chance to immerse myself in it more deeply.

Get lots of flavored 'soju'...or any other kinds of Korean alcohol...very cheap over there, but pricey outside of that country. Also, don't forget the kimchi :)

Thanks for the comment, Jon. Soju sold at the FamilyMart is under $2 USD for the 500mL bottle! Cheap as hell, but it's really just an average experience. I might need to go slightly nicer. Can I just buy regular soju and then mix it with yogurt drinks from Taiwan?

Hell, I don't know what kind of kimchi to get. Maybe a small container of each cucumber, cabbage, and radish.

I gotta say that Korean beer isn't particularly tasty to me. But the girls here definitely are. I think I'm dehydrated, I've been drooling so much.

You can get flavors of soju such as apple, grape, or cherry (grape is my favorite). The purpose of these drinks is that u get really wasted, really fast...without the really bad taste. Good to enjoy with say...some Korean girls? :)

Down, boys. But I know what you mean; I'm this close to extending my stay another day (until Sunday). Ugh, decisions decisions.
