A Flash of Life
We keep hearing about this, in the movies and in supposedly real-life stories. But that hasn't satisfied my curiosity. Have you suddenly found yourself in a life-threatening position? And does your life really flash before your eyes?
If it does, what parts of it flash? (Would kind of be a shame if your potentially last thoughts of your life were about that time you had to line up for three hours at the DMV, huh.)

Life does not flash before your eyes. The only thing I remember before crashing into a concrete barrier was thinking "OOOOOOhhhhhhh SHIIIIIIT."
That's all that went through my mind. Mind you, this was years ago and I still remember those two words.
I had a near death experience in Vegas years ago when I was a few seconds away from being hit by a train. It never really hit me (no pun intended) but my cousin, who was with me, was freaking out right afterwards. I later reflected on the event and realized how close I was to death.
ceaz how did you get so close to a train? dont u see it coming? Reggie is right, as my car was rolling down a hill i was thinking OH SHIT and nothing really flashed before my eyes except my fucking airbag.
Incidently, if your airbag does deploy remember NOT TO INHALE! You're more likely to die from choking on the explosive residue than you are from the crash itself.
